Introduction
I'm always slow to adapt to what's in and what's definitely not, and I've recently just realized that Amazon has a lot of incredible products. Among butterfly-shaped ice cube trays, popcorn station organizers, golden matte silverware, and other things that I totally don't need, my Amazon shopping cart has lately been overflowing. However, whether you work from home or you can never get out of the office, I personally find these five Amazon tech gadgets to be a complete game-changer for your work day or ESPECIALLY if you're juggling the college student life.
1. Touchscreen Mist Cleaner Spray
When you're constantly using your devices -such as your phone, computer, or tablet- your screens can get pretty dirty. However, what I love most about the Touchscreen Mist is that it's an all-in-one portable screen cleaner that takes up no space in your bag. The soft felt material around the bottle acts as a cloth that is so easy to wipe with, leaving your screen looking crystal clear and sporting zero dry spots. They also come in nearly every color to match your aesthetic!
2. walrfid Technology Cleaning Kit
While on the subject of "cleanliness", I got to say without even looking at your computer or Airpods that they're probably crusty. Don't be gross. Invest in a walrfid laptop cleaning kit and your life will instantly change for the better! Everyone thought that it was so dumb for me to buy this, but once they tried it they immediately shut up because this stuff WORKS. Included is a scraping tool to get out any crumbs or weird "residue" that falls in the cracks of your laptop hinge, a keyboard brush, and a sort of Q-tip-looking tool to clean out your Airpods (which always need a good swabbing). Out of all the items on this list, I recommend a technology cleaning kit the most because it makes all of your devices look brand new. Plus, people will totally compliment you for it.
3. Linux/Windows Commands MousePad
I apologize that this photo is a little blurry, but great news: You don't have to memorize all of the Linux command line if you have this product. While this is a mouse pad, you can also use it as a general computer pad for your desk. This also makes an excellent gift for anyone you know entering the Cybersecurity field or your best friend who also happens to be a pentester. This product even comes in the version of Windows or Excel commands!
4. 5 Pack Pastel Flash Drives
These cute and colorful flash drives by Garmese are a great addition for your work bag, as well as making it easy for you to identify "which flash drive holds what". (This 5 pack also comes in 32 Gigabyte size.)
5. MDOZQ Computer Memo Board
Omg, if you're doing interviews or if you work from home, you NEEEED to get a memo board!!! In this industry, it can be really hard to remember the billion-gazillion acronyms or simply the right things to say in a virtual meeting, so instead of trying to memorize, get yourself a computer memo board. It clicks right on to the side of your laptop or monitor, allowing you to put sticky notes around the edges. This helps you stare straight ahead at the person you are talking to and ultimately gives you a more professional advantage. Otherwise, it can be super awkward if you keep looking down because people will definitely know that you are reading off your notes and therefore don't actually know what you're talking about.
Case in point: If you're just starting out in the field and you're currently going through job interviews- BUY! If you work from home and need to train yourself to look at a person while you're talking, BUY! Or, if you're like me and have the worst memory in the world...you should really just get this.
